social worker - substance use treatment program
We are seeking a Social Worker for our Substance Use Treatment Program to help individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders through caring, integrated and evidence-based approaches. Activities include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, patient advocacy, and harm reduction.
The Social Worker will be a part of our Extended Care Program (ECP), a methadone maintenance program. The goals of the program are to help patients maintain abstinence from illicit drug use while addressing their medical, mental health, family, interpersonal, housing, legal and vocational needs.
Qualifications
At CCHP, we value and practice a team-based approach to care. Experience working in a team is not required, but is key to the Center's mission, in addition to:
LCSW, LMSW (clinical supervision will be provided by an LCSW), LMHC and/or CASAC
Experience working with underserved and substance use populations preferred, but not required
Methadone experience is preferred, but not required
Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required
