WELCOME TO THE NEW CENTER FOR COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH PRACTICE

We are excited to offer all of our services to our 3,000 patients from our brand-new Center here in East Harlem!

On January 30th, we moved into our new home at 35 East 110th Street. Our new neighbors are Central Park and the Africa Center!

Our Approach to Care

Over the last 60 years, CCHP has built a reputation as a strong community partner and service provider that offers patients and their families comprehensive, family-focused healthcare and supportive services all in one location.

CCHP founder, Dr. Richard Brotman

Our team of medical providers, nurses, care managers, counselors, peers, and play and learn coordinators work together to address the medical, social, emotional, and child development needs of our patients and their families. Ultimately, we strive to create long lasting health-care partnerships between patients, families, and professionals. Our motto is “CCHP is your family’s home for a lifetime of care.”

The Center for Comprehensive Health Practice (CCHP) was originally founded by visionary, Dr. Richard Brotman in 1960. From its very beginning, CCHP has been committed to Dr. Brotman’s mission, to provide our patients with high quality, affordable healthcare that integrates primary care, behavioral and mental healthcare, addiction treatment, early childhood development services, and other supportive resources for adults, adolescents, and children all under one roof.

In 1990, CCHP became an independent not-for-profit community health center located within Metropolitan Hospital Center. And on January 30th, 2023 CCHP moved into our new and fully-customized center located at 35 East 110th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10029.

Our NEW HOME

Through the support of the Ira DeCamp Foundation, the Manhattan Borough President’s Office, and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, our new Center was intentionally designed to support our culturally competent, integrated model of care. We created a warm, family-focused atmosphere for our patients – from the moment they enter our reception area and throughout their experience in all service areas. We consider our new space an invaluable tool in creating the trust necessary for successful, ongoing health care provision.

In addition to our exam rooms, individual counseling offices and group rooms, our new Center also features the return of our supervised playroom that provides an enriching setting for children when they accompany their caretakers to CCHP for various appointments.

Thank you to our staff for their dedication, to our patients for trusting CCHP with their care, and to everyone who supported us throughout these years. We could not have done this without all of you!
